Charisma Carpenter
Charisma Carpenter was born on July 23rd in 1970. She was Cordelia Chase, a supernatural drama series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-1999) as well as the spin-off series Angel (1999–2004). She also appeared in Charmed (2004), Kendall Casablancas and Veronica Mars (2005-2006), Rebecca Sewell and Lacy in The Lying Game (2012–2013 strong>).
Carpenter was born in Las Vegas, Nevada the daughter of Christine the bird sanctuary worker as well as Don Carpenter, a salesman. Carpenter is from Spanish (from her maternal grandmother), French, German and German descent. Carpenter was one of the students at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas. When Carpenter was 15, her family relocated to Rosarito Beach, Baja California in Mexico, and later to San Diego, California. Carpenter returned to San Diego and worked in the video store, as an aerobics instructor, in addition to property management. She played cheerleader with San Diego Chargers football in 1991. In 1992, she moved to Los Angeles.
In the water in San Diego in 1991, she and two male friends were slain by Henry Hubbard Jr., the former San Diego police officer and serial rapist who tried to subdue them using a gun. Her friends as well as Hubbard were both shot during the struggle. Hubbard fled the scene but both her companions survived. Hubbard was found guilty and sentenced to a 56-year prison term for a series of rapes and as well as robberies. Carpenter was able to take Hubbard's flashlight a police-issue flashlight, from the beach. He had left it at the scene. The flashlight proved to be an important piece of evidence in the case against Hubbard.
Carpenter was ranked No. Carpenter was ranked number 31 on AskMen’s Top 99 Most Wanted Females of 2002[3031. 44 on their 2005 list. Carpenter declared that she does not think of herself as a sex icon despite this. Carpenter was featured on the cover and an unisexual photo spread over ten pages of the issue in June of 2004 from Playboy magazine. People magazine asked her 2005 whether she would pose again for Playboy. I joined Playboy for a very specific reason. Not only was it a good financial move and a good choice for me, but it was also about my current situation with my life. My son was about to be born and I'd gained 50 pounds during pregnancy. I wanted to return to my old self. I wanted to be attractive and sexy. I thought: "What if you went to the max?"
